Managing Metrics

You may create an unlimited number of Metrics of any type.


Create a Metric

Creating a Metric starts with choosing a name and specifying an equation.

  1. Select Reporting from the top navigation bar
  2. Click on Metrics in the sidebar navigation
  3. Click the "Add Metric" button
  4. Select a name for the Metric, and complete the form including the equation (see the Metric Equation Reference)
  5. Click "Create Metric"

Metrics are available to be used in Reports immediately.

Update a Metric

  1. Select Reporting from the top navigation bar
  2. Click on Metrics in the sidebar navigation
  3. Click the Metric in the table you'd like to update
  4. Modify the fields of your choice, including the equation (see the Metric Equation Reference)
  5. Click "Save Metric"

Note: if you change the key of a Metric, your reports referencing that Metric will no longer include the Metric, and will need to be updated.
